Our first Knockout is starting right now - people getting sweaty... The good thing however is that we can not get kicked out because there is only one competitor.
In the last match: SUCCESS!! Our code seems to be finally working as intended. We managed to score a point savely by rotating a token rightly which got us pretty confident right now. Of course, we will still be improving the code, but now we have a stable baseline to work with.
You might have also noticed that the appearance of our bot altered a little bit. That is because the originally forward facing webcam was replaced with a GoPro while said webcam is now mounted at the back. This allws for more efficient measurement and increased agility inside of the arena.
We have now had our first two matches of the day and coding until 5 in the morning holds some advantages, apparently. Our driving and orientation is great, only precision is still a limiting factor. This should be easily fixed however.
Good morning people! After finally recieving our well deserved brittish breakfast this morning, we arrived at the racecourse (a little late but not too devastating) and are almost immediately faced with our first match. In this sense, we wish good luck and a fun time to all fellow SR-teams!
